Support Us

SailFuture is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families to operate residential group homes for 15 – 18 year old boys.

The SailFuture program is a two year placement for 15-18 year old males in foster care who have not succeeded in, or are not eligible for, living arrangements with parents, relatives, or adoptive or foster families.

In addition to housing, our residential model includes an accredited experiential high school, challenging sailing experiences, individual counseling, and job training.

Youth stay at the program for two years and participate in a 3-month long rite of passage sailing experience where they navigate around the state of Florida and complete service learning projects, earning credit towards their high school diploma.

The goal for each of our boys is to earn their high school diploma, find a job related to their interests, and transition smoothly out of foster care and into independent living.
